On Saturday night we helped celebrate Grandma & Grandad's 60th wedding anniversary at the North Mackay Bowls Club. Their actual anniversary is on Wednesday (7th October), but we celebrated early with balloons, cake, and letters from the Queen and Govenor-General. Both of these letters were hand-delivered to Grandma & Grandad by the postie (as in, right up to the door). Grandad was very chuffed with that.
