FOR TODAY

Outside my window... it is really windy.
I am thinking... how good it will be to have Jason home tomorrow night, as he's been away the best part of a week, for work.
I am thankful for... a plumber who was quick to respond. I came home to a kitchen floor covered in water last night, and the plumber came about 2 hours after I called this morning. Very appreciated of that.
From the kitchen... some leftover chicken biryani.
I am wearing... my work uniform, but its days are numbered.
I am creating... a mess, by trying to sand back our old office desk, before painting it. (Jason has some serious doubts).
I am going... to try and have this desk finished this weekend, since I'm having a long weekend.
I am reading... "Always Looking Up" by Michael J Fox. Trying to extricate myself from the world of vampires and supernaturals, by reading about MJF's struggle with parkinson's disease. His positive attitude is very inspiring.
I am hoping... I have time to wind down at work before finishing on Friday, although the prospects aren't good.
I am hearing... repeats of Friends on pay tv.
Around the house... it is quite clean, and the novelty of the new dining room furniture hasn't worn off yet.
One of my favorite things... is dark chocolate, and I am going to partake of some once I've finished this post.
A few plans for the rest of the week... surviving these last 3 days of work, and the pub crawl on Friday afternoon. Mum and Dad are also leaving again on Friday, so I'm catching up with them tomorrow.
